Eric Sloane often worked with his friend and landlord, Leon Gaspard in his
Taos studio. Sloane and Gaspard Exchanged ideas and techniques. Sloane
painted these same three Russian Women and exchanged with Gaspard. The
also each painted Three Apache Indians, from behind (the same
size and format) and exchanged these.
